Please compare your igpu to the minimum Nvidia gpu. The author of this topic has marked a post as the answer to their question. Please help me out, me hitting the skyrim discussions means i've hit rock bottom. I can run the game fine despite me playing on a laptop. I have tried nearly everything with no success. I am almost certain that this is an intel problem. This seems to effect all NPCs and all tree leaves. The problem WAS that the game will start in a black screen with the theme in the background.

Regardless, you are in the wrong place asking for help. If I put the shadow quality on ultra godrays on ultra the effect is back. When I turn my shadow quality down it goes away but only if godrays are enabled. Tried each setting and completely disable none of the options fix the problem. My monitor has gsync disable so that's not the culprit either. I even forced it through the Nvidia control panel to no avail. Also my the vsync is enable in my SkyrimPrefs. That hasn't seemed to fix the issue either. My monitor refresh rate is always set to 60 FPS becasue the origninal Skyrim had issues when it was any higher. If monitor is Hz then set it to 60Hz or adaptive refresh rate or some such from GPU utility program. I've tried everything from reinstalling the game to reisntalling my Graphics card and all the drivers but I haven't found a fix. The launcher even auto detects-ultra settings for the game but the bug still persists. Most people fix this by going into their Nvidia control panel and selecting the "Use high performance processor" option to make sure the game uses their gpu and not their integrated graphics. I'm getting that odd visual bug where there are grey, flickering patches all over characters and parts of the landscape. Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts.
